In recent years I have led the team through the journey of Technology Transformation at The R&A while collaborating with the organisation to deliver an exciting and ambitious strategy. Responsibilities & Achievements:Transformation & Change LeadershipI have led the transformation of our Target Operating Model, including restructuring the Technology Department and establishing and embedding sustainable processes and procedures. The team has grown considerably as well as establishing extensive third party relationships. I lead four teams and have built a culture of creativity, collaboration and continuous learning. I am an advocate of empowering teams to achieve their goals, bring their ideas to the table and effectively work with the organisation to deliver ambitious projects, while maintaining our existing estate. Strategic PlanningWith an ambitious organisational strategy, I have brought in portfolio management and a robust prioritisation approach for our Technology projects and programmes. I have worked closely with the with executive leadership and other key stakeholders to understand their technology needs, ensuring we are strategically focusing on the right projects that deliver objectives and operational effectiveness.Strategic Technology & InnovationWith an enterprise wide view across the organisation, I collaborate with teams to align technology opportunities and innovation with the strategic objectives. I have approached innovation through fostering a culture of creativity, continuous learning, and adaptability to technical advancements while delivering and maintaining technically sound, secure and scalable solutions. Project GovernanceProficient in overseeing complex projects and acting as an appropriate escalation point for project teams. I have led the department through appropriate resource planning and management to make sure we are delivering projects effectively and efficiently. This has included bringing appropriate Project Governance and Business Analysis to our delivery model.
