At the helm of Predictive UX since its inception, my focus has been on delivering great design for apps that serve our communities, colleagues, and families so that we can make a positive impact on the world. Most recently, we created a vision for how field service engineers installing medical equipment across the country can gain access to the right knowledge at the right time, saving millions of minutes spent searching, while reducing risk of down time in critical care situations. In education, we worked alongside innovators like Arizona State University and The US Chamber of Commerce Foundation to design and test digital wallets, credential issuing, and how we might better serve students and people with non-traditional skill paths in capturing and sharing their skills—the passion for change within these organizations led our work well beyond app functionality into answering how we might positively impact the lives of those seeking employment and upward mobility and how we might be a force for change in the industry to break down the barriers and bias inherit in hiring. We also reimagined the experience of data capture for federally funded educational programs that serve the needs of children to ensure a better data collection experience and to improve data integrity to ensure these programs can show their impact and continue to receive funding. These are just a handful of the projects we are proud to have co-designed with our clients. As we participate in these innovations, my role entails guiding Predictive UX and empowering clients to embrace responsible and ethical approaches to user experience, data, and AI so that together, we can ensure technological advancements uphold societal values.
