More recently, we pivoted into a data science company with a human-first approach to complex data systems - and I'm glad we did because our unique background in UX, knowledge management, and data puts our team in a prime position to help companies embrace the many challenges that are ahead with AI. Designed budget report for CIO to use in communications with CFO showing IT investments, project status, ownership and duration (quarter over quarter) tied to expected financial outcomes. Achieved performance transparency across all IT investments within 90-days through the design and production of IT portfolio reports tracking key metrics tied to specific business outcomes. Drafted approach to rolling resource re-forecasting to increase visibility from 5- to 90-day view.

Launched DC-practice to include authoring five-year strategic plan, hiring and managing staff of seven direct reports, authoring RFP responses, managing professional partnerships and servicing multiple client accounts. Won professional services contracts worth over $6M in revenue within first 18 months of employment. - Client Work -National Geographic Digital Media: Improved leadership visibility and communication by establishing Steering Committee, Project Review Board and serving on SEO Board for multi-million dollar Vignette portal and CMS program. Reduced time to market by establishing project management and requirements best practices, work product templates and co-leading the development of a Project Management Office (PMO). Directed content audit, gap analysis, requirements, wireframes development and provided project management for seven sites migrating to the Vignette content management and portal platform. Consulted across Digital Media Group on asset management and video integration, conducted full-length study on processes to publish content and recommended time to market improvements.The World Bank: Led requirements, wireframe development and project management of on-site and remote teams in launch of four multiple language sites for The Microfinance Gateway in support of the Consultative Group to Assist the Poor initiative funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the sites were built on the Vignette Collaboration platform. Provided usability expertise on the design of The Microfinance Gateway, the design considers portal best practices and re-usability across Arabic, French, Spanish and English sites. Liaison to partner vendor, EDS, working alongside EDS PMO to deploy sites.

Key contributor in Merlin’s achievement of CMMI Level 3 by filling role as Requirements Development and Requirements Management process area lead, contributing team member for Product Integration and Configuration Management process areas. Mapped DHS SDLC to CMMI process areas.

Worked with Nextel & IBM to develop new brand theme, user centered design, wireframes and taxonomy/information architecture for intranet using Vignette portal and CMS. The site subsequently received the Dalton Pen Award, March 2005 and APEX Grand Award, July 2005. Performed in-depth competitor and audience analysis for sales portal to define business goals, requirements, wireframes and user experience as input into overarching content strategy for Vignette portal and CMS. Conducted heuristic evaluation of Nextel's custom balanced scorecard application. Responsible for project management, business analysis, requirements, taxonomy, user centered design, wireframes and application configuration resulting in the successful launch of multiple projects.
