I help adults and dislocated workers, with guiding them as they work to get their degree or certificate in approved programs at area colleges/universities. The goal is to help them succeed and get a job in the area after graduating. I help them with setting goals, getting their Financial Aid, class schedules, textbooks, transportation, resumes, interview skills, and much more.

I mentored and advised students that were Low Income, First Generation College Students, and/or have some type of physical or learning disability. I oversaw a peer mentor program, helped students complete the FAFSA, verification paperwork, and gave Financial Literacy presentations. I also planned all events for the Student Success Center/TRIO Office. Events include Open House, Orientation, Spotlight, Transfer Trips, and Cultural Trips for students.

Gave Accuplacer Placement Tests to current and potential college students, complete requisitions for purchasing, maintain budget file, answer phones, inventory of supplies, opening and closing of the office each day, enter test scores in Jenzabar, help in preparation of high school testing, and various other duties as assigned.

I have taught courses in Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Human Resource Management, Sales, Office Systems Management, Legal & Social Environment of Business, Keyboarding, Introduction to Business, Marketing, Business Math, and Business Communications.

Balancing all operations from the branches. Balance Cash, ACH, ATMs, Non-posts, CDs, and many others. Also, answer phone calls, customer service to branch employees, faxing, copying, and creating many spreadsheets and reports daily.

Administrator of all Federal Funds for traditional on campus and online students. Answer phone calls, customer service, paperwork, faxing, copying, creating invoices, collecting payments, working with a collection agency, and various other duties.

Originating and Disbursing State and Federal Aid through the use of ED Express, APECS, Jenzabar, and various other financial aid programs, Assist students with paperwork to complete their file, answer student questions about financial aid, calculate return of funds, customer service, answering phones, student worker manager, etc.

Pell, MAP, IIA, FSEOG, and ACG payments and requests through PowerFaids, Award letters for students, Independent Appeals, Special Circumstances, Suspension Appeals, reading and assisting students with account information, answering phones, cashier machine, customer service, inventory, etc.

Payroll using Peachtree Accounting system for all workers. Accounts receivable and payable invoices. Answering telephones, faxing, filing, copying AutoCAD construction drawings, inventory, customer service, and scheduling appointments.
