My Experiences:- Educate parents on post-secondary opportunities, financial resources, graduation requirements, educational supports, and communicated expectations- Educate students—particularly low-income—on career readiness, financial literacy, college access, rigorous classes, academic success tools and supports- Support teachers and school administration with financial funds, professional development, supplies access and ordering, event planning, and curriculum - Collaborate with school administration and counselor to recognize gaps and create target goals to help struggling students be successful- Assist in the formation and on-going support of the Robotics Club, that won multiple state awards, as well as our very successful Drone Club, that does extensive work in our community and for local businesses- Manage all of the national, state, and local scholarships for our high school students. Including listing them on the website, presenting them to the class, coordinating scholarship representative visits, and host scholarship events to complete applications- Manage and track all scholarships and financial aid received by 100% of the seniors. In the Class of 2021 (44 total students), 40 students received scholarships/aid totaling over $600,000. In addition, was solely responsibly for the Annual Scholarship Awards Night- Analyze data, strategize, and plan events and activities for students and families: FAFSA Night, Freshman Family Night, College Apps & Cocoa, College Signing Day- Successfully manage and balance $80,000-$100,100 budget annually- Created small group Zooms the first week of the pandemic to continue to meet with the seniors weekly until they successfully graduated- Analyze data and create monthly SMART Goals to increase reach and minimize gaps- Submit data and APR Reports in compliance with the Department of Education's GEAR UP requirements- 8+ years of coaching youth/HS sports. Developed young girls with an emphasis on goals setting. team, character, and competing- 4 years local school district PTAC Auction Chair. Increased fundraising totals by 100%, 50%, 10%, and 20% each consecutive year- Managed and helped design a natural exploration playground at the local elementary school with the $30,000 budget from the PTAC Auction fundraising efforts. The playground was designed to create creativity, increase motor-skill development, engage the senses with different sounds, touch, colors, textures, movements.
