To be an effective Office Manager, you must be able to problem solve quickly and effectively as well as communicate well and use collaborative efforts to effect change. I use all these skills in running a small Mortgage Loan Broker office. I also track expenses, payroll, AR and AP, set appointments, track paperwork for customers, leads management and advertising, as well as manage customer contacts and be the point of contact for most customers and business contacts.

Booking, dispatching and managing jobs and status on a daily basis including contacting and scheduling jobs with all subcontractors and customers, AR, AP, ensuring payroll is correctly entered per job and per employee, balancing each job to budget. Maintaining business website as well as all the office supplies and marketing supplies. Other duties included occasionally working on jobsite whenever needed.

I started working in 1996 as a Customer Rep and worked my way up to Team Leader. I was in charge of a team of 350 temporary employees, ensuring their productivity and quality standards to goal, employee assessments, hiring and employee development. As part of the night crew, it was our responsibility to ensure quality standards, maintain productivity, maintain the phone system and solve complex problems as the needs arose.
