Led the validation study of an Interprofessional Wound Care (WC) Team Competency Framework.Canadian Interprofessional Wound Care Team Competency Framework: An International Validation, Dr. Virginie Blanchette & Wounds Canada, submitted and pending publication in the Journal of Wound Care.● Created research protocol using pre-existing literature on international validation e-Delphi studies.● Recruited 15 international WC experts from 12 different countries to validate study and gain expert feedback and novel perspectives on the previously constructed Canadian framework.● Developed data collection tool (online questionnaire) via Qualtrics software. Synthesized and effectively presented response data.● Presented research poster and abstract at the 2023 Wounds Canada National Conference in Niagara Falls.

Develop first team-based interprofessional wound care (WC) framework with 156 competencies based on CanMEDS. Study: Development of Interprofessional Wound Care Team Competency Framework: an e-Delphi study, Dr. Virginie Blanchette & Wounds Canada, submitted and pending publication in the International Wound Journal● Extracted 13 pre-existing WC frameworks through a rapid review of grey literature to construct a preliminary Canadian WC framework.● Managed e-Delphi study with 66 WC experts from 13 different stakeholder perspectives.● Facilitated a patient/caregiver-centered workshop to gain patient perspectives on competencies relating to the physician-patient interaction.● Presented research poster and abstract to 300+ wound care experts at the 2022 Wounds Canada National Conference in Toronto, resulting in data dissemination within the medical community.● Designed research poster selected for presentation at D-Foot International Symposium (The Hague, Netherlands).

Language Translator ● Expanded outreach and helped overcome language barriers by transcribing and translating research findings, abstracts, data analyses, newsletters, and questionnaires. ● Translated weekly newsletters, surveys, and emails from English to French and vice versa to aid with intra-organizational communication. Audiovisual Support● Led 1-on-1 rehearsals for 30+ conference speakers creating a comfortable environment and addressing platform questions.● Provided on-site and immediate technical support for 50+ speakers and 200+ guests at 7 national wound care conferences resulting in efficient and productive seminars.● Created and managed database with 100+ conference speakers spanning over 5+ years.
