Analyzing developments in the non-proliferation and disarmament regime and provide contextual framework on political matters relating to the Treaty and the work of the organization. Preparing analytical and background papers and reports in relation to the work of the Section and the Provisional Technical Secretariat (PTS); Support the Section on the Capacity Development Initiative (CDI), in particular identifying universities and research institutions with an emphasis on the remaining Annex 2 states;Developing briefing notes to present to the Executive Secretary and Section Chief on cross-cutting issues relevant to the CTBT and the wider regime, such as regional arrangements and underlying technical and diplomatic issues.
