Reporting to the Group CIO, and CEO of Athora Ireland Services (AIS), I lead the Office of the CIO with accountability for ensuring an effective operating rhythm which successfully delivers on our strategic objectives and key results. Areas of responsibility include Group IT portfolio management, quality assurance, knowledge management, business performance reporting, vendor management, communications, and IT budget spend.A large focus of my role is also on organisational effectiveness, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement and service orientation within IT, ensuring performance standards are continuously sustained and improved within the internal teams. The Dock is Accenture’s flagship R&D and Global Innovation Centre based in Dublin's tech quarter. Rapid Innovation manages the development of new Dock concepts, which aim to investigate and demonstrate the business application of emerging and maturing technologies. Concepts are prototyped and presented to senior global executives across industries including Life Sciences, Retail, Insurance and Supply Chain. Rapid is an evolving team (including Strategy, Design, A&AI and Technology Engineering disciplines) in mid- stages of scaling. My role as Team Coach is integral to growing its continued success in Dublin and across Accenture’s Innovation Architecture. I have oversight for the Rapid Portfolio (funnel to post-delivery), ensuring teams deliver high quality experiment outputs on time, which meet client / business needs.
