I have the awesome opportunity to contribute to a growing startup in the Social Health industry. When I was onboarded, I introduced the owners to Agile development practices as well as design system. I also advocated for the use of accessibility and validation in our best practices. I am in charge of building a web dashboard as the companion site to their mobile app. The dashboard makes use of React, TypeScript, Material UI, Firebase Authentication, and Google Maps. I also had the opportunity of implementing a full application redesign with the React Native team.

In this role, I created comprehensive automated tests to ensure that product requirements were met and errors were prevented. Additionally, the job required formulating REST API specifications from UI designs using Swagger, implementing REST APIs to display data, and authoring task cards for UI designs to increase productivity by 33% while waiting on product requirements. I was also responsible for contextualizing and tailoring presentations to suit both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities were essential for success in this role.

In this role, I've had the opportunity to work with a diverse set of clients, including an e-commerce automotive client and a non-profit youth social services client.For the e-commerce automotive client, I constructed a performance-improving template with a code review style checklist for the developers on the team. By implementing this checklist, we were able to reduce personal code corrections by 75%. I also managed client data to create a feature that visually represented sustainable vehicles to a customer, using GraphQL to display an eco-friendly icon on vehicles. I estimated feature work to support product planning and developer resourcing, and collaborated with client designers to implement a global component library redesign of 30+ components.For the non-profit youth social services client, I advocated for the end user by implementing a Progressive Web App that gave them access to critical resources both online and offline. I mentored and coached junior developers to analyze the root of errors and guide them to a resolution. I also used a data conversion tool to automate the format of the data to be easily displayed to users, which reduced man hours by 90%. The clients could update and maintain the solution on their own after hand off, making it a sustainable solution.Overall, my experience working with diverse clients has given me a unique perspective on how to approach problems and deliver high-quality solutions.

As a contributor to an e-commerce platform for machinery parts and designer/engineer of stakeholder websites, I have developed various solutions to improve user experience and drive business success.At the e-commerce platform, I developed the checkout process, created customer accounts, and integrated a payment API into the platform. Additionally, I programmed a machine management tool that enables users to search for parts by vehicle make and model.In website development, I utilized ReactJS and Figma to design and develop a content-heavy website and landing page for a key stakeholder. I also created a .NET plugin utilizing the Hubspot Contacts API to synchronize customer data, which improved marketing data.
