I am a designer with a passion for healthcare architecture. My professional focus is on healthcare and higher education spaces, which require collaborative efforts that bring together complex user interfaces, technology, and multiple regulatory requirements. Design is a process of research, analysis, reflection, and solution exploration, a process I apply to designing spaces and my life. I have 22 years of architecture experience, with 20 of those years focused on healthcare. I have worked for the State of Indiana for the Department of Health and the Department of Homeland Security. I have had many roles, from IDOH plan reviewer and code interpreter for the legal division of IDHS, a project manager for projects over $20 M, planned healthcare campuses 1-2M in square feet with over a billion dollars in projects, created training programs, and managed teams. I have a diverse background focused on healthcare that gives me an edge over my peers in planning, programming, design, and construction management that is innovative and compliant with the many organizations that provide oversight in the healthcare industry.
