I established and led WSUP's Kenya office for nearly a decade, managing strategy, team operations, and funding. I directed three strategic business plans that impacted 6.5 million people and secured over GBP 100 million in investments. I pioneered the KPI10 regulation, a globally recognized metric for pro-poor service delivery. Additionally, I contributed to over 25 national and utility policies, introduced market systems for pro-poor water and sanitation, and mobilized over USD 150 million in financing while building strong relationships with key donors and private foundations.

Managed capacity development support for new utilities, public health departments, and private water providers, rolled out sanitation marketing and water supply delegated managed schemes, supported market entry support for water quality (fluoride treatment) systems, led multi-stakeholder mobilization, coordination & management processes and implemented national private-sector led handwashing with soap campaign reaching over 750,000 children and mothers in Kenya and Zambia.

Led community-managed urban and rural water and sanitation services, designed and implemented a USD10 million integrated urban slum upgrading programme, managed multi-stakeholder processes, and coordinated resource mobilization & partnerships.

Managed a team of 75 professionals in a geographically extensive programme comprising community mobilization and training for WASH systems management, water, and sanitation access development, SMEs capacity in shallow/deep wells drilling and maintenance, potable water quality management, and water catchment protection and conservation.

Managed hydrogeological surveys, drilling and equipping of boreholes, technical assessments and rehabilitations, community mobilization and organization, training of gender-balanced borehole committees and operators, and maintenance capacity support for the local District Water Offices.
