Organizations optimally operate at the intersection of clear communication, empathy, and honesty. While collaborating with others from various backgrounds can be difficult, it does not have to be impossible. This is where I come in. As a multi-cultural person who has operated in a non-profit and higher education sectors for over 10 years, I have witnessed DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) successes and missteps. My experiences inspired me to study DEIB (in business and at the doctoral level) and pursue a career as a DEIB practitioner. In my current role, I have facilitated institutional trainings and coordinated individual research and study grants for faculty and staff all for the purpose of promoting sustainable change that unlocks each team member's potential and cultivates a caring community.
