I collaborated on a project with PepsiCo Northwest focused on fuel study in product distribution to enhance the performance of their fleet. This project involved conducting a comprehensive analysis of fuel consumption patterns, identifying areas of inefficiency, and pinpointing improvement opportunities. We developed a detailed business plan and economic feasibility assessment to implement effective solutions. Additionally, I led the execution of strategic actions, including route optimization and the implementation of efficient driving practices. As a result, we achieved significant reductions in operational costs and substantial improvement in the efficiency of PepsiCo Northwest's fleet, showcasing my ability to identify and address complex business challenges with innovative, data-driven solutions.

During my internship at Flex Norte plant in Guadalajara, I focused on increasing the COP percentage for the Stellantis account. I implemented concepts, tools, and methodologies developed in Operational Excellence to enhance organizational competitiveness. Working closely with cross-functional teams, I identified areas of opportunity and devised effective strategies to optimize production processes. Through diligent application of these practices, we achieved significant improvements in operational efficiency and project profitability, demonstrating my commitment to excellence in execution and delivering tangible results.

During my internship at the Tec de Monterrey, Campus Estado de México, at the Social Entrepreneurship Hub, I had the privilege of overseeing the 8th generation of Leaders of Tomorrow, providing support and service at a regional level. In this role, I reported directly to the Regional Director of Social Entrepreneurship and served as a mentor for scholarship students of the generation, who led impactful social entrepreneurship ventures. I facilitated individual and group mentoring sessions, offering strategic guidance, emotional support, and resources for the development of their projects. Additionally, I collaborated closely with the Social Entrepreneurship Hub team to organize events, workshops, and activities aimed at promoting entrepreneurial spirit and positive social impact within the student community and beyond. This experience allowed me to develop leadership, empathy, and teamwork skills while contributing to the growth and success of the next generation of social entrepreneurs in the country.

During my collaboration with Taali, a flavoring company, I led a project focused on the production design of synthetic capsaicin. In this project, I developed a chemical synthesis route to generate 10 tons annually of the product, aiming to minimize production costs. Additionally, I integrated the energy aspect of the process using pinch methodology, resulting in energy savings of up to 50%. Throughout the design, I also considered project safety in accordance with Mexican norms and ISO standards, as well as sustainability aspects. This experience allowed me to apply my chemical engineering knowledge to develop effective and efficient solutions while ensuring project safety and sustainability.

During my project at BASF Plant Altamira, Tamaulipas, I had the opportunity to conduct a feasibility analysis for the polymerization of dispersions in batch reactors. In this project, I performed equipment sizing and incorporated key aspects of safety, quality, and environmental considerations. Leveraging my skills as a chemical engineering student, I developed models and simulations to assess the technical and economic viability of the process. Additionally, our team worked to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, as well as to minimize environmental impact. This experience allowed me to apply my theoretical knowledge in a real industrial environment and acquire practical skills in chemical process design and optimization.

During my tenure at BASF, I led a project focused on the Pumping and Distribution Design of 2-ethylhexylacrylate compound. This project entailed the detailed design of pumping and distribution systems, including specification of pipelines, fittings, pumping or compression equipment, and auxiliary equipment. My role involved determining energy requirements and seeking a design to minimize operational costs. Additionally, I designed a distribution network for treated water for sanitary use through pipelines with pumping systems, identifying minimum energy requirements, necessary fittings, and operating costs. This experience allowed me to develop skills in system design, project management, and cost analysis, and significantly contributed to the project's success by ensuring efficient and cost-effective distribution of 2-ethylhexylacrylate compound and treated water within the BASF plant.
