I believe architecture is a lens of the human experience. It is a way of looking at the world through a particular perspective, whether intuitively perceived or thoughtfully guided. This intentional mindfulness can be a direct response to a site or landscape, it can reflect cultural values or historical significance, it can reinforce a feeling, incite emotion, or provoke a memory. A design solution can innovate, inspire creativity or embody a brand or aesthetic, but most importantly, it should represent you, the client.For me, the practice of architecture is a process of discovery where collaboration is key. I don’t believe in forcing a solution or style onto a program. My goal is to work with clients who are willing to take a deep-dive in understanding their values, dreams and ambitions as they relate to a project. This thoughtful introspective then drives a shared design that is reinforced by my experience and guidance as a professional, but carefully tailored to you as an individual, family, business or organization.
