Myriad Genetics has several business divisions that provider healthcare professionals with powerful information to inform healthcare decisions and improve patient outcomes. Within my role as an Inside Sales Representative for the Myriad Neuroscience division, I work to provide access to our GeneSight® Test directly to patients and healthcare providers in Southern California and Hawai'i. The GeneSight® Test analyzes how a patient's genetic variants impact their response and metabolism of psychiatric medications. By providing access to the GeneSight® Test, we strive to help eliminate the conventional trial and error method of mental health treatment for depression, anxiety, and ADHD and eliminate barriers to mental health treatment.

GTN Logistics is a third-party logistics company (3PL) partnered with Globaltranz that strives to provide customers with competitive shipping rates and top-notch customer service. For GTN Cincinnati, LTL (less than truckload) shipping is their forte, but they also accommodate partial and full-truck shipments. I started with GTN as a Sales Representative where I built an active client book of over 120 companies of various sizes and shipping volumes through cold calls and email correspondence. In July of 2021, I was promoted to Sales Team Manager. In that role, I worked to translate my success to a team of Sales Representatives. Through training and monthly meetings, I worked to provide my team with the resources and skills to not only grow their base of business, but retain their current customer base.

The KidsLink School provides intensive behavioral, academic, and vocational programming based in the methods of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) for children with Autism and other developmental disabilities. I served as a Behavior Therapist for the 11-17 year old classroom where there was a total of 12 students. Within the position, I executed ABA-based interventions such as discrete trial training (DTT), task analysis, and reinforcement based on the child's individualized treatment and education plans. Another vital responsibility of my position was data collection and analysis. While I was responsible for graphing and analyzing the data of two "primary" students, I also recorded targeted behavioral occurrences and completed DTT and task analysis programs for 1-3 children throughout each day. Additionally, I composed "home notes" for the parents of the children that I worked with each day to keep them up-to-date on their academic and behavioral progress.

As one of a few ADHD treatment programs in the world, this intensive seven-week program uses positive reinforcement through a point system to modify behaviors and emotional responses. This position required me to memorize verbatim the operational definitions of behaviors in order to effectively implement the standardized behavioral modification program. Throughout the summer, I directly implemented the program with 11 children (ages 7-9) through the teaching of sports and social skills and various classroom behaviors. In addition to being a group counselor, I served as the lead soccer instructor for my group. Within that role, I facilitated recreational soccer games as well as developed and implemented skill drills. I worked extensively with three different children from the group as their primary counselor. My responsibilities included things such as reviewing daily behaviors with parents at end of the day pick-up, collecting and analyzing data specific to the three individuals, creating treatment plans personalized to their needs, and constructing clinical summary reports for clinical and parental use at the end of the program .

I served as a Peer Mentor and a Student Coordinator for the Jacket Link/BRIDGE (JLB) Program throughout my time at Baldwin Wallace. As a peer mentor, I served as a support system and provided information about campus resources to several groups of first-year students on campus. In addition to these responsibilities, I was also one of two Student Coordinators for the program. Within this position, my responsibilities included things such as organizing events, facilitating meetings, and conducting interviews each year in order to hire new mentors.
