Buy-side equity analyst for a global long-only equity fund, Sifter Global. The core investment philosophy of Sifter is to focus on identify and extract long-term value and quality through a company specific bottom-up analysis.Assignments:- Performing quantitative and qualitative equity research with bottom-up approach including fair value modelling for equities.- Deepening understanding of the equity markets, investment management and asset allocation- Reviewing, compiling and analysing financial data from several data sources including Bloomberg, FactSet and Stocksifter- Preparing detailed research reports in English, based on quantitative and qualitative research- Tracking and analyzing financial data and economic trends and their impact on the Fund- Selling and buying equities- Constantly reviewing our portfolio- Preparing quarterly reports for clients- Presenting the investment strategy and investments to investors through different media outlets and events
