Sifter Capital is a boutique investment house providing equity analyses services for Sifter Global Fund in Luxembourg and Family offices in Finland & Switzerland. Our story The story of Sifter started over 25 years ago when Dr. Hannes Kulvik created the first version of Stocksifter equity analysis tool. The goal was to establish a "secret sauce" in order to invest in resilient business with attractive price. Investment philosophy Instead of picking stock Sifter strategy relies on elimination. Therefore Sifter process is not about picking stocks but removing “the bad apples” fast until there is the best remaining businesses to invest in. Hence there is over 65 000 listed companies globally it’s a huge job for any professional analyst team. With help of Stocksifter system that can be done effectively and the remaining companies are analyzed, compared and ranked against the current portfolio companies. Results 14 years ago, based on continues research work, Sifter Fund was established and small number of investors were chosen to invest in it. Secret sauce hasn’t disappeared and since then Fund has gained good returns for the investors (8.4% p.a. 2003-2017) Investors Sifter Fund is designated to Family Offices in Finland and other European countries. A typical Sifter investor values global allocation, transparent and research driven investment process and prefers a long investment horizon.
