In 2019, I pitched the idea of Better Life, a new section for young millenial readers (18-24) aimed at enhancing well-being, professional life, and personal finances. It bridges the gap between the core YP reader, and "proper" grown-ups, with insight and advice that helps our readers better their lives, by exploring issues such as mental health, mindfulness, healthy eating, dating, career paths, and networking.We also get deep into passion topics such as climate change and travel, plus share some really useful “how tos”. I curate the section alongside the YP editor, with commissioned work and wire stories, to ensure a good mix of voices and message.

It fell to me to take on the remaining liaison and planning responsibilities with the amazing Product team, and see the project through. Talk about a learning curve.
