Karly Matthews is the Vice President of Communications of the American Conservation Coalition. In this role, she manages media relations and works with ACC’s Senior Leadership Team to set high-level messaging.Serving as a spokesperson for the organization, Karly has appeared on BBC World News and The Hill TV. Since assuming her role in 2020, Karly has facilitated the publication of nearly 400 ACC-affiliated op-eds, including pieces in Fox News, The Washington Examiner, and RealClear. In 2023, she was named one of Maverick PAC's Future 40.Karly, a Pennsylvania native now living in Washington D.C., graduated from Temple University with degrees in journalism and political science. When she’s not chatting with a reporter or editing an article, Karly can be found walking her beloved corgi, Pennie, or squeezing in a quick run at the gym.
