I am the founder/president of Discovery Hydrovac, which identifies, protects and helps to restore some of the nation’s most important infrastructure projects. I have worked in the oil, gas and pipeline industries for more than 25 years. I formed Discovery Hydrovac in 2012, self-funding the first three hydrovac trucks. Today Discovery Hydrovac is headquartered in Draper, UT.Discovery Hydrovac quickly evolved into a preferred provider of hydro and air vacuum services for major pipeline projects nationwide. Safety is an integral part of our culture and we adhere to the highest standards of training and safety certification. In fact, we take the industry safety standard a step further, understanding weather conditions, changing traffic patterns and safe work patterns. We work daily to create an environment that thrives on collaboration from front line to CEO. There is nothing more gratifying than knowing that we make an impact and create a safe environment for the companies and the men and women who are working to bring energy to our cities.PhilanthropyMy main philanthropic passion is Global Lyme Alliance, where I am a major contributor and board member. I have begun a national campaign to educate all companies whose employees work outdoors about the need for Lyme Disease awareness, prevention, education and treatment. I’ve been involved in Utah’s Entrepreneurs’ Organization since 2009, participating annually in their many events and charitable opportunities. My skills include negotiation, budgeting, operations management, Microsoft Excel, and business development.
