• Co-manage an ongoing systematic review of COVID-19 vaccine effectiveness studies with the goal of monitoring vaccine performance globally to inform policy.• Conduct weekly literature searches, evaluate studies for quality, identify methodological biases, interpret results, abstract data, and create weekly summary tables for online dissemination and distribution to WHO, CDC, and numerous other organizations globally.• Synthesize a large volume of data and information on COVID-19 vaccine effectiveness into digestible briefs for lay audiences on various topics of interest.• Attend forums on COVID-19 vaccine effectiveness methodology and adapt ongoing systematic review as needed.• Co-author publications.• Train and supervise graduate students in conducting the literature review and data abstraction.• Design data collection instruments and construct REDCap database.

Conduct international health research and provide technical assistance to low- and middle-income countries to reduce tobacco use and its deadly consequences through evidence-based policy action. This includes field support to country teams in Asia and Africa.• Conduct secondary research and translate findings into informational materials for in-country tobacco control advocates to promote adoption and implementation of proven policies to reduce tobacco use and save lives,• Provide technical assistance for in-country evidence-generation efforts such as policy compliance assessments, including training local coordinators and data collectors, assisting with methodology, analyzing results, and generating reports and graphs based on findings. This includes direct field support in India and French-speaking Senegal,• Respond to time-sensitive requests for information, analysis and policy advocacy materials from country advocacy teams, civil society organizations, communications staff and the media, and ultimately policy-makers,• Participate on the India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan country teams as the International Research member,• Develop and maintain secondary research materials such as fact sheets on priority policies and countries,• Hire and supervise two interns in International Research Unit,• Co-author research articles and posters for public health publications and conferences, including poster presentation as lead author at the 2017 American Public Health Association conference.

Paid position with the Park Stewardship department leading volunteers in native habitat restoration throughout the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.• Co-led a summer internship program for high-school students focused on development of personal and professional skills through service projects in the Parks,• Developed and delivered educational programs and materials on history, ecology, and flora of the area,• Managed groups of up to 40 volunteers of all ages in ecological restoration projects,• Prepared monthly newsletters and other outreach materials,• Helped determine and implement needs-based restoration work plans, and• Performed administrative tasks to support community engagement in the Parks.
