CKUVM is a student run organization which recovers food from local farms and serves breakfast weekly at the Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf in Burlington, VT.2016-2017: I volunteered weekly for CKUVM, serving meals using recovered food to food-insecure clients.2017-2018: As a Shift-Leader, Co-Food Shares Coordinator, and Chair of the Battle of the Campus Chefs, I was able to retain my passion for cooking weekly meals at the Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf, lead others, and plan our annual fundraiser that raised over $3000.2018-2019: I served as the Treasurer and co-club signer. 2019-2020: I served as the Treasurer and co-club signer.

Facilitated the academic and personal adjustment of underclassmen to UVM. Through serving as a positive role model, I developed a sense of community amongst residents. I enforced the rules and policies of Residence Life while also acting as a liaison between residents and the University. During the 2018-2019 school year, I was a LRA, meaning that I had additional responsibilities, including serving as a mentor for 25 RAs on staff as well as serving as a link between RAs and Residence Life professionals.

The Campus Kitchens Project is a national organization that empowers students to fight food waste and hunger. I assisted with planning and logistics for annual Boot Camp training for student leaders, held in Washington, DC; held information sessions via phone and webinar for schools interested in joining the network, and assisted with a variety of other tasks.
