Overall responsibility for the functional departments Projects & Planning (Systems Engineering), Mechanical, Construction, Product Change Management, Technical Services, and Model Shop. Coordinate technical driven innovation processes with the development road map. Offer innovation as a basic for product management. - Structure and coordinate the technical driven innovation processes in order to offer significant innovation for products and markets - Develop and maintain core technologies and core competencies; strategic planning of product and technology development; benchmark programs; product life-cycle management - Plan, direct and control the product development process – from conception phase to start of production (SOP) to allow successful transitions of product launches - Responsible for setting up the resource and development planning, Monitor all cost centres; Budget the R&D cost and test lab cost on a yearly basis - Calculate product development projects and development tasks and support the controlling Department in setting up the total cost calculation - Member of the cost reduction program which will increase the profitability of the existing product portfolio - Coordinate local requirements with the local/global development strategy and consolidated the results in a development road map to advance standardization and synergies
