I am a passionate Structural Engineer specializing in Structural Mechanics, with a focus on Finite Element Analysis (FEA) methods. I recently graduated with a Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Track- Structural Engineering (specializing in Structural Mechanics), from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences (CEG) at Delft University of Technology.During my master's thesis, I delved into the friction mechanics of dry masonry. My thesis, titled "Characterisation of Frictional Behaviour at Brick-Mortar Interface," explored the limits of frictional mechanics defined by the Mohr-Coulomb criterion and employed a reciprocating tribometer. This study included an entry-level approximation using the LuGre model to estimate frictional behavior and involved a novel method for developing and testing masonry within a tribometer.Currently, I am employed in the field of Finite Element Analysis, where I focus on Non-Linear Time History Analysis (NLTH) to assess the seismic safety of buildings in the Northern Netherlands region of Groningen. My work is particularly centered on addressing the challenges posed by man-made earthquakes, ensuring the resilience and safety of structures in this at-risk area.My academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from Mahindra École Centrale, completed in 2020 with a scholarship. My experience is further enriched by a research internship at Brandenburg University of Technology in Germany, where I gained insights into the world of Finite Element Methods and valuable international exposure.I am technically proficient, resilient, and thrive in collaborative environments. My leadership, communication, and organizational skills have been demonstrated through my active involvement as a board member and action committee member of U-BASE, the study association for building and structural engineering students at TU Delft. My coursework and projects have also provided me with strong skills in data analysis and experimental research.I am committed to advancing the field of structural engineering and solving real-world challenges. I continuously seek opportunities to learn, grow, and push the boundaries of my knowledge. Outside of my professional work, I enjoy Cricket, Cycling, E-sports, Scientific Reading, and Traveling.
