As a Millennium Fellow and Campus Director for the Class of 2022, representing Government Model Engineering College. Out of over 31,000 young leaders from 2,400+ campuses across 140+ nations, only 8% were chosen to host the 3,000+ Millennium Fellows, and our campus was among them.As the team leader, I spearheaded the CancerCare project, focused on advancing SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and UNAI 2 (Quality Education). Our program aimed to combat health misinformation by developing a reliable cancer support site. As a Campus Director for the Millennium Fellowship Class of '22, I had the honor and privilege of leading a team of 26 fellows through an incredible journey. This role provided me with valuable experiences in leadership and hosting skills, and it instilled in me the confidence to explore new opportunities.During the six-month program, I successfully organized and facilitated six training sessions, ensuring that each fellow had the necessary tools and resources to excel in their projects. Together, our cohort completed 12 impactful projects that made a positive difference in the lives of over 500 individuals.One of the highlights of my tenure was hosting a webinar on SDG4 (Quality Education), which attracted participants from more than 34 countries. This experience allowed me to connect with amazing individuals both on and off-campus, fostering valuable global connections and expanding my network.Among the notable projects initiated by our team were a global online blood donor repository, a community application addressing the needs of the LGBTQ+ community, a book lending project, and a climate action initiative called "Call to Earth."Serving as a Campus Director for the Millennium Fellowship Class of '22 was a transformative experience that deepened my understanding of team dynamics, honed my leadership abilities, and amplified my passion for community engagement.
