Engineering Futures (E-Future) is the professional development program of The Tau Beta Pi Association, Inc., the oldest Engineering Honor Society in the nation. The E-Future program was founded in the 1980s with a focus on training engineering students and professionals in non-technical skills that are essential to personal and professional success.

As an IPPD course assistant, I will mentor senior-level engineering undergrad students/teams enrolled in the IPPD Program as they design and build authentic products for industrial sponsors. UF IPPD has a legacy of producing many successful engineers and entrepreneurs for the last 30 years. Over 500 projects have already been completed by the IPPD program for company sponsors, including American Express, USDA, Duke Energy, Walt Disney, Verizon, PGT Industries, Northrop Grumman, Texas Instruments, Honeywell, Nielsen, Orlando Utilities Commission, Sandvik, Siemens Energy, Florida Power & Light, and Gainesville Regional Utilities. As an engineer and researcher, working on real-world industry projects is an incredible opportunity. My personal goal is to enhance my research, teaching, mentoring, and grant-writing skills. I would use my academic teaching, research, and professional facilitation skills to help students navigate challenging course topics and project deliverables.
