Description Created LAN with Nortel Ethernet Routing Switches Passport 8600 as core switch and Passport 5500 as Edge switch. IST is configured between the Core switches and SMLT configured from Both the core switches to the Edge switches. Link aggregation is configured for greater performance. VRRP is configured to overcome Single point of failure.Efficient LAN Traffic Management is configured on Nortel Switched Firewall Alteon 6616 Accelerator and Director, the security gateway. The smart centre server and smart console is configured and defined with state table and pushed into the security gateway whenever new changes are done as per the clients requirement. Remote access VPN is created for some of the trusted clients as per the request.
