We are conservative in our investment style with an emphasis on wealth preservation and compounding over the long term. We are passive investors.Being a proprietary investment firm, we work with very few external investors, and they tend to be Ultra HNIs (networth Rs 1000 crores or more) through sidecar structures. We don’t charge any management fees and our incentives are completely transparent and aligned with our investors.

Sakhi Foundation is based on the idea that the best investment a society could make to fight poverty is to empower and educate its women. A lot of our personal sucess in life can be attributed to being born at the right place at the right time (what Warren Buffett calls winning the ovarian lottery). We have a Sakhi Scholars programme, where we support super-talented and motivated girls from underprivileged backgrounds through funds and engaged mentorship. Svatantra Foundation was established by LG Chandrasekhar, founder of Sutures India, world’s fourth largest sutures manufacturing firm, post exit from the company. Svatantra Foundation runs the Vidyadaan schools - one near Bangalore (Doddaballapur) and one in Gaya (Bihar). Vidyadaan schools are high quality English medium schools run by passionate faculty members. These schools provide free education and nutritious mid day meals to underprivileged children from the surrounding communities.
