Having studied in the Malnad school of architecture in Hassan in 1993, Karun Kumberaworked with various architectural practices in India and has practiced in his own capacity inBangalore, India. After working for eight years in India, he studied Urbanism in École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Paris-Belleville and then urban architecture in École nationale supérieure d’architecture de Paris-La Villette, while working with various offices of architectureand urbanism in Paris, where he worked rigorously on the topics of micro-urbanism andurban ecology and its synergy with built architecture. In 2008 he established Karun KumberaArchitects and Urbanists, In Bangalore.Karun Kumbera Architects and Urbanists was formed with a belief that all domains of designand creativity are interdependent.
