This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, which include: leading small to medium size commercial proposals and securing new business opportunities within the existing contracts; presenting and negotiating fees and services and leading projects to resolution; reporting performance against contractual or other agreed targets; involvement and support to regular client reviews on performance, commercial issues; problem solving and issue resolution through the application of commercial and contractual understanding for the account combined with a good understanding of operational processes and services; supervision of Commercial Administrator role; ensuring all client invoicing is complete and in accordance with contractual requirements; providing direction to the wider global Jaguar Land Rover account team on commercial issues; identification of service improvement opportunities; support the annual business plan, forecasting and monthly variance analysis processes; and attending the weekly UK Management Team meeting and issuing the minutes.

The main focus of this role was to provide support to Jaguar Land Rover and its export markets, assisting with the resolution of any issues efficiently and effectively by following the prescribed processes and procedures. Holding frequent conference calls with the markets enabled me to develop and maintain successful working relationships with all markets. My dedication and professionalism was recognised when the results of the latest Neovia Customer Satisfaction Survey results were published. I scored maximum points from six markets. This was my greatest achievement even though I had only been with the Team a short amount of time. I also provided monitoring reports to the Market Relations Manager.

I managed a team of six people, ensuring that all targets set by the client were consistently met and exceeded. I also performed the personnel requirements and training for the Team. I worked closely with the Market Response Manager to develop and produce regular reports. These reports monitored the day-to-day activity of the Team, monitored the courier costs on a weekly and monthly basis, Transport issues affecting the UK retailer network for the monthly review with Jaguar Land Rover, and ad hoc reports to support Special Services Requests. My most significant achievement was providing efficient and effective support to the UK retailer network, this was highlighted by the upturn in scores on the Parts Manager surveys.

Dealing with enquiries from our world-wide customers, supporting the call centre for the UK dealers, arranging couriers thus ensuring delivered to meet their needs, producing staff rotas, supporting the Team Leader and the Account Manager.

Responding to telephone calls from customers who wish to order parts, check on a delivery and answering any queries customers may have.

I was the leader of a small sales team, who, under my leadership, improved customer service resulting in increased leads converting into sales by 20% in the last financial year. I represented my team at both Management Team and Board level. I identified three areas which were hampering our initial number of leads and their conversion into sales and implemented resolutions in order to increase both the number of leads received and the conversion rate: a revised request form ensured that accurate information was received from the outset, lowering turnaround times and increased the conversion rate by 20%; comprehensive marketing materials and a company-wide training programme ensured that staff had extensive product knowledge, this resulted in a 30% increase in the number of leads; and the introduction of a customer charter, improved customer service, thus reducing the number of customer complaints, significantly increasing leads received and the conversion into a sale. In addition, I was solely responsible for generating £500,000 worth of business from face to face meetings and £135,000 from inbound telephone sales. I was officially recognised on three occasions for my customer service and teamwork.

In this role, I administrated the conference and wedding needs of our clients. My greatest achievements in this role were single handedly booked and oversaw all of our Christmas events in 2009, resulting in our highest number of guests attending, and I was voted Employee of the Month nine times for my customer service and dedication to the job. I also attended Operations meetings in the Event Manager's absence.

I was seconded into this position, where I assisted the Project Manager through the tendering process through to the purchase and Trust-wide implementation of £1million IT system. My significant achievements in this role included producing the user guides and providing on-site training which ensured the smooth implementation of the new IT system throughout the Trust.
