My name is Karyn JeanJacques. I am a Rutgers University-Newark graduate with a B.S and M.A in criminal justice. Due to my experiences within underprivileged communities I have grown an interest in the justice system and reformation.Through my education and professional experiences, I have developed strong communication skills which will help in better interactions with others. I have also developed great problem-solving skills that will help me maneuver around and resolve difficult situations.I am actively looking for ways to grow and improve my skills. I am very invested in my community and impact driven. My goal is to help underprivileged individuals by providing resources such as career and career development opportunities, housing facilities, and support groups to help improve their quality of life, especially to recently incarcerated people. I am also looking to change the way that the system interact with incarcerated individuals.
