I am a recent graduate of Benedict College with a B.S. in Accounting. During my time in college, I was the President of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) Benedict Chapter, the President of the Benedict College Honors Program, the Vice President of the Tyrone Adam Burroughs Scholars, the Treasurer of Collegiate 100, and the Treasurer of the Beta Gamma Chapter of Delta Mu Delta. While being a member of NABA, I have volunteered as a Tax Preparer for Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA). I have received the President's Trophy at Benedict for having a 4.0 GPA for the 2019-2020 and the 2021-2022 academic years. I have also received the Outstanding Senior Award for the Tyrone Adam Burroughs School of Business and Entrepreneurship. During my experience at college, I have learned how to time-manage. I have also learned how to work in a team and communicate better. I have been passionate about accounting since I was in high school. I love using spreadsheets, and I love to create budgeting plans. Also, math has been my favorite subject since I started school. Since I started completing tax returns for VITA in 2020, I have had an interest in tax. I like to listen to new music, play/watch basketball, cook, spend time with family and friends, and watch the latest tv shows during my spare time. I also enjoy browsing and looking at new homes and cars on various websites.
