Led the development of the biosensor MiniLab-multi 8 system (from initial concept to launch). Secured $2.5M project funding from clients in Singapore and the Netherlands.1) Led 5-member product development team to design, develop and fabricate the MiniLab-multi 8 system. Initiated 3 designs/ideas for the micro-fluidics and mechanical engineering, achieving a fluid-tight reliable system.2) Managed several clients’ projects in Singapore as well as the AP region for both Optiqua’s EventLab and MiniLab systems, ensuring customers' satisfaction of the deliveries.

Directed the MiniLab-tower project, focusing on developing and validating interface chemistries for the biosensing platform, resolving critical technical challenges, and ensuring timely project completion.1) Supervised as the project manager for the overall project execution and reporting to customer.2) Successfully developed and validated different interface chemistries (incl. surface coating, coupling chemistries, and bioassay formats) for the MiniLab biosensing platform. Solved several key technical issues, ensuring timely delivery of the MiniLab Tower system to the Dutch customer.

1) Collaborated in technology transfer of the optical sensor technology from the Netherlands to Singapore. Set up the analytical lab for assembling and testing the EventLab system.2) Set up a bio-chemical lab in Nanyang Technological University and collaborated with local university/institutions.3) Established Optiqua’s bioassay characterization methods and benchmarked MiniLab assay performance with a commercial and leading bio-sensing system (e.g. Biacore™).
