Punjab Urban Development Projects, PICIIP, Government of Punjab - Engineering Design and Construction Management (EDCM) Phase 1, Tractebel GKW GmbH, Mannheim, Germany, for seven cities in Punjab, namely, Rahim Yar Khan, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Multan, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan and Muzaffargarh, Kashif Coordinated IT, general administration and logistics activities between team members and 7 site offices;Created links to the senior and top management of the Government of Punjab;Established a major project office in Lahore to house 150 team members. He procured necessary IT hardware and software such as computers, server computers, routers, NAS drives; GIS satellite imagery and license software; equipment for video conference calls to sub-project offices; Germany, etc.;Provided support as and when required in the formatting of project output documents and producing presentations in line with ADB / Government of Punjab requirements;Use of Infographics wherever necessary;Maintained and updated regularly, full project accounts.

Kashif served as the Head of Information Technology in an international consultancy firm GHK Consulting Limited. He extensively worked on introducing, designing, and implementing IT-related initiatives in Government and private organizations as part of his engagement with GHK. As part of delivering services at GHK, Kashif headed a large team of IT professionals and provided technical oversight and advice on designing and developing a number of Management Information Systems (MISs) like Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Financial Management Information Systems (FMIS), and Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS) in the public sector. These systems are being used for strategic planning and decision making proved to be instrumental in bringing effectiveness and efficiency gains for the clients.
