Humble Warrior Collective builds strong communities filled with hope by providing access to mindfulness and yoga tools, empowering individuals to overcome cycles of neglect, violence, and trauma. Humble Warrior Collective and the Hope Research Center have partnered to measure the impact of our yoga, meditation, and mindfulness curriculum. Dr. Chan Hellman and Dr. Evie Muilenburg-Trevino developed surveys, which measure hope, self-compassion, the benefits of yoga, and Humble Warrior Collective curriculum concepts. Students enrolled in our 8-week courses are surveyed at the beginning and conclusion of our courses, tracking changes at the individual level. The data measures our effectiveness and improves our teachings of yoga, meditation, and mindfulness as tools that buffer stress, build resilience, and improve outcomes. We are excited to share the results of this evaluation show that Humble Warrior Collective programs reduce stress and increase hope in our students!Humble Warrior Collective is using the data we receive to continually improve our programs and meet the needs of the students in front of us.
