As Head of Business Analysis and Consulting, Kasun’s key responsibilities were:- Accountable for providing strategic direction to the Business Analysis and Consulting team- Accountable for defining and implementing best practices for Business Analyst practice across all business lines- Accountable for defining and implementing strategies to attract, recruit, nurture, motivate, retain and rotate top talent- Accountable for defining and implementing the appraisal and remuneration strategy to motivate and retain best talent- Accountable for learning and development programs for both technical knowledge as well as soft and leadership skills- Responsible for CAPEX, OPEX and Training & Development Budgets of the BA practice- Responsible for personally conducting training, coaching and mentoring sessions time to time to all analysts as this is Kasun’s personal passion- Accountable for rolling out the Behavior Driven Development (BDD) methodology program in MillenniumIT on top of the agile transformation – the programs covers on boarding targeted clients- Responsible for rolling out the Unified Engineering program in MillenniumIT – the program includes designing job roles, on boarding graduating university students and academic staff of the concept, designing the interview and evaluation criteria, recruitment of graduates, on boarding new staff and training them – introduced the concepts “Software Management Trainee” and “Learn Soccer, Learn Unified Engineering”- Responsible for the improvement of Financial Market domain knowledge of all software delivery staff – this includes designing and implementing knowledge sharing forums, training sessions, online collaboration forums, financial market related subscription management etc.- Responsible to work with Group Audit team in internal Group Audits for SDLC Compliance- Responsible for designing and implementing the new SDLC practices to suit agile world – this includes training entire staff in MillenniumIT

Kasun started his job as a Business Analyst after university and then was promoted to the post of Senior Business Analyst in 2008. In 2009, he was promoted to the post of Consultant.Previous Roles: BA Lead for multiple project teams including the below:- Millennium Exchange Trading Product (Implementation & Maintenance)- London Stock Exchange (LSE), Borsa Italiana (BIT) and Oslo Bors (OB) Trading Systems Implementation- American Stock Exchange (AMEX) Smart Order Routing (SOR) System Implementation- American Stock Exchange (AMEX) and Turquoise (TQ) Trading Systems MaintenanceSome of Kasun’s key responsibilities in his previous roles were:- Identifying business requirements of LSE, BIT and OB- Identifying business requirements for Millennium Exchange Product- Identifying business requirements of trading strategies to be supported in AMEX SOR- Onsite support for AMEX, LSE, TQ and BIT

Kasun is the Chairman of Future Minds (National Higher Educational and Career Exhibition) – a voluntary annual project done by his Alma mater’s Junior Old Boys’ Association for 14 consecutive years. Future Minds team comprised of 200+ volunteers and Kasun gives the strategic direction to the team. This year, Future Minds launched a Virtual Exhibition Platform which is available 24x7 to all stakeholders. Prior to taking over as Chairman, Kasun was the General Manager for two years. Kasun also led the Career Guidance and Counseling Program of Future Minds which had provided free career guidance and personal counseling to more than 5,000 students to date. Kasun also led the Future Mind’s school engagement program (Future Minds Talent Tank) which helps more than 2,000 school children in 175 schools in 5 provinces in Sri Lanka to bring out their best talents in speaking, writing and photography. In 2015, the Talent Tank project received the National Science Foundation (NSF) endorsement under Kasun’s leadership.
