After joining the Training department at The Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust on a temporary contract for 12 months I was asked to apply for the role of Core Skills Administrator on a permanent basis. I continued in this role for a further 15 months until, as a result of a restructure, the opportunity to become Academy Assurance Co-ordinator came up. This new role enabled me to expand my experience and learn many new skills. I had the ability within this role to work autonomously whilst remaining part of a small team.My current role involves creation of eLearning content, management of the Learning Management System and compliance reporting. The role requires advanced Excel knowledge and attention to detail when producing reports and auditing data. The reports I run as part of this role are created from multiple data sources. Data is extracted from these sources and manipulated using macros, formulae, pivot tables and charts, and then distributed as appropriate- internally and externally.The role also involves engagement with subject matter experts to create eLearning content and advise on best practice with regards to eLearning.
