• Teaching weekly evening Bollywood dance classes at community level to a range of ages and leading one-off workshops for various events.

• Researching & identifying new opportunities for Company projects & development, including funding streams, sector developments, new venue/community/education partners.• Working closely with Artistic Director on planing & implementation of company strategy, projects and tours.• Fundraising for projects from a range of sources including Arts Council England, Birmingham City Council, PRS, tenders and partnership funding. • Tour booking (national & international) and management.• Working with education partners from primary level to HE to organise projects including workshops, bespoke residencies, seminars and performances. • Raising company profile & building alliances through representation at key industry & networking events including Decibel PAS and British Dance Edition.• Marketing, including establishing strategy & house copy style, composing and distributing marketing packs & press releases, establishing & managing social media profile, press liaison, mail-outs.

• Collaborating with General Manager and Artistic Director to develop project proposals to fundraising stage, researching funding opportunities & completing funding applications to charitable Trusts, Arts Council & Local Authority sources.

• Marketing duties including: design and implementation of marketing strategy; monitoring marketing budgets; composition and distribution of press/marketing materials; planning and updating of company website and social networking sites; providing written and verbal information to enquirers; tour booking; contracting & working with external suppliers.• Operational duties including: maintaining office and communication systems, ensuring the smooth running of the company; database management; contracting artists; keeping clear financial records in line with project budgets; paying wages & invoices; overseeing equipment; minute-taking at Board and Company meetings.• Artistic programme support, and project management duties including: liaison with arts and education partners; recruitment for youth projects; rehearsal scheduling; room bookings; travel arrangements; event management.
