I qualified in 2010 as a veterinarian from the Royal Veterinary College. I've worked in veterinary practice for nearly 7 years, and gained a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (Equine Medicine) while doing so. I am now working as a Sector Veterinary Advisor in the Ruminant Business section of MSD UK, having previously worked for 2 years as a Regional Veterinary Adviser covering the midlands, Wales and east of England. In this role I specialise in providing technical input for the sheep and beef sectors of the business. This involves using my knowledge and skills to educate farmers and vets, creating marketing and engagement tools, driving sales, and running projects. I do a large amount of public speaking face to face and virtually and forging connections is also a key part of my work. I really enjoy all the opportunities this role affords me!
