I have worked in the retail sector of horticulte for many years. Although I trained at Capel Manor in Gunnersbury Park, I believe the best learning platform has been the plant areas that I have worked in!I've worked for Wyevale, County Gardens, the Garden Centre Group, Squires and I find myself in the lucky position of working for Stewarts down on the South Coast. Since working for Stewarts I have worked many positions including Plant Area Supervisor, Plant area manager and now Plant Buyer.Across all the garden centres I have worked at I have often been prasied for sharp merchandising, great customer service, attention to detail, good leadership skills and fantastic product knowledge Being a buyer has been my most challenging role yet but one that I relish. There is nothing I enjoy more than visiting nurseries across the UK and beyond and seeing and selecting plants for the plant areas. It has also been my pleasure to work with the companies new Nursery manager in selecting a range of bedding and seasonal plants to grow at our new state of the art glass houses in Wimbourne
