  Summer 2019:Department of Laboratory Medicine, Clinical Center- Developed and validated an assay for 3,5-diiodothyronine (3,5-T2) using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS)- Measured 3,5-T2 levels in a population of healthy volunteers and patient populations of interest- Presented findings at NIH Summer Poster DaySummer 2018:Center for Cellular Engineering, Department of Transfusion Medicine, Clinical Center- Established the first comprehensive database of approximately 1000 immunotherapy products processed on the Miltenyi CliniMACS Plus instrument in the CCE over 10 years- Mastered electronic medical and research record keeping programs including StemLab, DocuWare, and CRIS- Presented findings at NIH Summer Poster Day and American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual MeetingSummer 2016-2017:RNA Mediated Gene Regulation Section, RNA Biology Laboratory, National Cancer Institute- Used CRISPR/Cas9 system to establish stable human knockout cell lines to study miRNA modification enzymes- Independently performed and trained other interns in laboratory techniques including gel electrophoresis, PCR, Western blotting, molecular cloning, DNA isolation (Miniprep and Maxiprep), tissue culture, RNA extraction, and transfections.
