Wish is a mobile e-commerce app that connects small businesses straight to consumers. I worked on the iOS Product team, tackling tasks from bugs to new features. My largest project was launching offers/incentives targeted to boost checkout rates. Frontend work included implementing new discount and cart modules in Swift. Backend work included building APIs to integrate experimental discounts, apply them to orders, and send follow up notifications in Python, communicating with a MongoDB database.

Pulp is a mobile iOS application for finding recommendations through your friend circles. I worked on the frontend of the iOS app in Swift. I built the user registration flow, profile page, and implemented the functionality of exploring recommendations.

Logos is a crowdsourced news creation platform. It is a student startup based at UCLA, and was accepted into UCLA’s Blackstone Summer 2018 Accelerator Program. I worked on the iOS app and implemented functionality such as user profile, searching, posting, and following using Swift.

StudySmart is a web and iOS application that allows UCLA students to view and rate how busy on-campus libraries/study spots are. I produced the mobile-friendly website using JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML, and CSS. Functionality includes making timed HTTP requests to database and generating activity charts.

The Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program aims to draw young girls into the computer science industry through a curriculum of languages and tools such as Python, JavaScript, C++, Arduino, HTML/CSS. For our final project, my team built MentorMatch, a mobile web-app built with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS that matched high school students to mentors in industries related to their interests. I implemented the program that optimizes student/mentor matches based on questionnaire responses.
