Senior Instructional Designer
Current- Designs and develops interactive in-person and virtual instructor-led or self-paced training programs for clients, including: Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP), CMS Office of Burden Reduction and Health Informatics (OBRHI), Identity Theft Tax Refund Fraud Information Sharing and Analysis Center (IDTTRF-ISAC), National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR), and NIH Extramural Staff Training Office (ESTO).- Develops appropriate objectives, content, narration, storyboards, assessments, handouts, work aids, and activities, including simulations, case studies, games, branching scenarios, and other interactive elements - Collaborates with subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand the context of the training, learn the material, and develop training content- Oversees design staff, allocates assignments, and manages project schedules and timelines to ensure media deliverables are completed on time and within budget- Produces video, multimedia, and print training materials and presentations for communications and public education- Designs graphics and webpages, produces videos, and sources stock images to achieve client goals and multichannel campaign goals with quick turnaround times and rapid issue management- Ensures Section 508 compliance for all publications and deliverables- Conducts continuous quality control, including copyediting, proofreading, reference checking, accessibility, and video and audio quality- Writes standard operating procedures (SOPs) for communications processes, quality control, and Section 508 compliance testing- Designs and facilitates internal trainings on Section 508 compliance
