I work in the Procurement team. My task is to create/round up introduction material concerning procurement methods used in National Police Board. They consists of variety of laws, norms and EU-directives. It is a complex entity which demands cooperation with many sectors within the Board, for instance Risk Management and Information Security sectors.

Different kinds of administrative tasks were under my responsibility. RISE has several different IT softwares/programs which are needed in daily tasks ( M2, Rondo and Kieku) - I helped my colleagues to use them. I and IT-manager worked as a team when it came to planning/organizing different seminars to our own personnel and visitors also. We also scheduled.

I worked as an officer in a team dealing with civil-military issues at the area of responsibility of the Finnish-Irish battalion.

I was seasonal worker in the field of tourism. I was a tour guide taking people for example snowmobiling, I was also coordinating the activities for visitors staying in Rovaniemi for a day trip only and for the last season I was working indoors selling safaris and coordinating timetables with our counterparts and subcontractors.

I did everything related to course planning with the hired training planners. I was answering the students' questions by email, phone or via eMoodle. I also helped with setting up the classrooms the way teachers wanted them to be and two times i was a part of a big field training excersise.

I was a part of a liaison team who visited different local authorities to find out what is the current situation in the municipalities and if they have some concerns. My responsibility area was local political parties and educational system.
