Processes felony and misdemeanor warrants received from the courts.o Types labels, files and enter data into the NCIC/CCIC system.o Responds to inquiries from the courts, District Attorney's Office, lawyers, Sheriff's Department,bondsmen, local, state and federal agencies and the public regarding warrants and people of interests.o Communicates with federal and state agencies regarding out-of-state extraditions.o Initiates and processes paperwork in support of extraditions.o Sends and receives teletype information regarding warrants to international and national lawenforcement agencies via the NCIC/CCIC system.o Receives, verifies, and responds to requests received on the computer from other law enforcementagencies.o Prepares information for detainer and Governor's warrants for extradition of out of state inmates,including travel cost information.o Follow-up with holding facilities. Request hard copy warrants from the court for new extraditioncases. Arrange for transference with transport service. Set up transport arrangements when transportcompleted with in-house staff. (flights, hotel, car, etc.)o Entry of temporary arrest warrants from local agencies after closure of courthouse.o Verify identity of wanted subjects, ensure warrants served belong to correct subject, and retrieve legaldocuments to law enforcement personnel regarding warrants, court information, and identities.o Ensures accurate chain of control of legal paperwork regarding active extradition proceedings.o Performs other duties as required.
