Prepares detailed recommendations and documentation for new or changed budgetary requirements needed to support programs, such as requesting a MFLAC Personal Financial Counselor at no additional cost to the program. Provides assistance and feedback to management on accounting procedures and accounting transactions. Adhered to principles and concepts of the EEO program. ADMINISTRATION INFORMATION: Maintained the position of the base safety CDSO Officer for Building 1522. Conducted safety training for the building employees. Met regularly with Base Safety and the Combat Center Fire Department. In addition, Area Coordinator worked hand in hand with base safety as the lead representative for the contract of “Arrive Alive”. Planned and coordinated safety stand downs and Wellness Fairs. FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT: Responsible for preparing purchase orders, reports, and the fiscal budget. Maintained and balance three different budgets that fell under MCCS Coordinator. Retrieved and reported that information to my leaders. Submitted payroll reports directly to HR. Reconciled Purchase Order Request (POR). Found inappropriately charged trade lines, then worked hand in hand with finance department to determining cause of errors. Resolved issues and followed up to make sure budget was showing proper accounting data. Analyzed data for various financial reports accounting operations and transactions to execute budget under annual projection. Prepared budget report and briefed upper-level management.
