  I have performed IT Project Manager Duties since July of 2011. I perform project management activities for Information Technology projects assigned by the designated Systems and Service Design Section Chief. Perform the full range of project management activities from Concept and Exploration initiated through Request for Work (RW) documents from stakeholders through development, production, completion and sustainment of initial fielding of the system/equipment items, and life cycle management support. PM exercises centralized accountability and oversight of all project resources and budgets. Utilizing the principles of Integrated Product Team (IPT) management, conducts program management activities which include: initiate action to identify alternative concepts to satisfy the requirement, tailor the acquisition strategy to select those concepts for evaluation, works with private industry to identify alternatives that may satisfy the Requirements Document (RD), and select those alternatives that meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives.Determines the affordability of the life cycle cost estimates of the competing alternatives in order to select the most promising system/equipment items. Conducts a continuous study of the schedule and performance requirements as they compare to cost as an independent variable (CAIV). Analyzes and enacts changes to the schedule and performance baseline to determine effectiveness of cost reduction plans. Analyzes the results of reviews, government and contractor technical reports, and determines the progress and technical adequacy of the project, as compared to an approved project baseline for cost, schedule and performance. Utilizes the project IPT to develop approaches to correct existing or anticipated project discrepancies or problems. As the contract officer representative (COR), resolves matters through the contract officer (CO) with the contractor if contractors are unable to comply with contractual obligations.
