When I first started working, I wanted a career where I could make a difference. I wanted to challenge myself and grow my skills. These continued to change and develop as I progressed in my career in consulting.  As I moved into senior consultant roles and then in-house, I realised that while achieving my own goals was great, there was more to being a great leader. To provide true #leadership, I needed to offer team members opportunities, flexibility, support and guidance to ensure they could achieve what they’d set out to do. I did this while working as a consultant on large-scale IT programmes and continue to do so at #ShellIT. I’m particularly interested in promoting #GenderEquality and making sure women in particular have the flexibility they need to pursue their career. Today I lead a team of more than 1500 people to deliver the energy trading and supply IT requirements of the future. Combining the experience I’ve gained from working on large and complex digital transformations and building high performing global teams, we’re maximising IT service delivery while driving an inclusive culture that makes everyone feel welcome and helps them perform at their best.
