Profile bio

About Kate Alliott

Skilled human rights practitioner with ten years' experience working with governments, international organisations and civil society trying to make the world better.I've worked across different projects as an adviser, researcher and program manager ensure that investments in international development make real change. I love working in the Pacific, with the region's rich cultural diversity and world leading solutions in the fields of human rights, climate change and local governance. Always on the hunt for innovative methods to unpick ‘wicked problems’, and ways in which civil society, the private sector and governments can work together on the Sustainable Development Goals. I am currently studying an MBA in Sustainable & Inclusive Business, as I'm curious as to how leadership in both non-for-profit and for-purpose organisations can help to lift people out of poverty and make communities safer, more inclusive and resilient for future generations.
