Directs the association’s membership, research, and information systems programs, including planning, budgeting, user assistance and customer service, needs assessment, and purchasing. Supervises staff in the membership and information systems area.Provides support to the MLA Membership and Professional Recruitment and Retention Committees.* With the help of volunteer and staff teams, I have successfully implemented multiple dues restructures and increases to increase revenues and membership.* I have created and conducted multiple needs assessment and research surveys to provide insights for evidence-based marketing and service decisions and increased member satisfaction; I have acumen in survey and form development.* I am leading MLA Membership Committee efforts to promote year-round new member onboarding and providing advice and tips to new members in multiple communication venues.* I manage both in-house and cloud-based IT solutions to ensure access to staff utilities and resources, services to affiliate groups, and security of internal and external assets. (On a side note, I know enough PHP, CSS, JavaScript, and graphic design to be slightly dangerous.)* I have successfully shepherded multiple in-house and cloud-based association management system (AMS) and website migrations, by identifying requirements; creating RFPs and evaluating proposals; cleaning, migrating, and testing data; and training staff and members on new systems.* I manage multiple API integrations between MLA association management systems and contracted service providers (event registration, meeting content, and learning management systems).I champion website usability, responsive design, and content taxonomies to lead users to precise on-demand content.
